How It Works

Becoming a Vendor

AgriVilla relies entirely on the hard work and generosity of home gardeners to supply fresh fruits and vegetables to the program. As a Vendor, you play a key role in being the boss of your own virtual farmer’s market. Through our online platform you exhibit the produce that you have available, while also providing details of your crop including quantity available and expected harvest date.

  • Must live on the North Shore (North or West Vancouver) and have access to a home vegetable garden or urban farm
  • Garden must be free of pesticides, herbicides, and other potentially toxic chemicals

Benefits

  • Supporting a very worthy cause. Know that the produce you provide will help feed a local family in need
  • Prevent food waste! Much of the produce grown in home gardens unfortunately ends up being disposed of

Becoming a Community Partner

How it Works

If you, your family, or your organization is in need of fresh produce, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our community of local gardeners have fresh produce available year-round for families in need.

Here is how it works:

  1. Visit our online store to see all currently available produce.
  2. Add produce items to your online cart.
  3. Once you are satisfied with your online cart, please place your order and provide time and location for our team to deliver your order. All produce orders are 100% free of charge.
  4. One of our volunteers will deliver your order at the time and location of your choosing.
Benefits

There are many benefits to accessing fresh produce through AgriVilla. Some of these benefits include:

  • Quality of produce: all produce available in our online store is grown right here on the North Shore. Our gardeners do not use pesticides or other harmful chemicals.
  • 100% free: All produce is provided at no cost. The mission of GCFS is to improve accessibility to fresh produce for all.
  • Convenient delivery: our volunteers will deliver your order when it is most convenient for you. There is no fee for delivery.
